so where to start? after dinner at cho dahng i was just chilling in the parking-lot until a certain person came to catch my eye. there was a "bum" picking up trash and putting them into a bag. so after a few seconds of debating whether i should give him $1, i decided that i should give him some money. i didn't want to just give him the dollar, but to use the opportunity to show that person Jesus' love by saying "God bless" at least. so walking towards him, i took out the money from my wallet and said "excuse me? hi, i think you would like to have this" and i presented the $1 to him. but to my surprise he refused, and then i was like what the heck? then i knew why at that very moment. he actually wasn't one of those homeless people picking up random bottles and cans to make money, but one of the street cleaners that were there to clean up the parking lot. i felt sooooo embarrased, sorry, and such. but seeing him smile with his golden teeth and his hand in the air waving at me filled me with compassion for him but i wasn't able to go further by saying anything. after realizing that, i briefly smiled back at him and walked back to where everyone was. even though things turned out this way, nothing is going to stop me from taking that leap of faith!
